Hello again!

I have to apologize. I decided to move the release of Cat's Meow until May 2nd. This way, the movie won't be spoiled before the Ringling College CA Senior show on May 2nd!

Water Comp Preview!

Wow! Less than ten days before my film is born on the internet! I bet my one follower is really excited! ;)

I wanted to post another image... A sneak peek of what my 2D water is looking like in a 3D world.


Lots of work to do! So little time!

2D Water Effect!

For my short I required water effects... I decided to draw the water traditionally and then color and comp it onto my shot using Photoshop and Shake. It's been a learning experience and I owe a lot of it to Mr Gary Schumer, who has been my 2D Water FX mentor here at Ringling!





This is the cleaned up version of the water, on 1's.

I'll show the colored and comped version when the short is finished! ;)

Cat's Meow.... It's a show!

Well, it is official! Cat's Meow is going to be my short for my senior thesis. It is the story of a little cat, her owner, and the comfy hat they fight over for ownership!

I will post updates periodically when I have something worth showing...
